Article Overview
This behind-the-scenes story takes you through the creation of a stunning 3D curved wedding stage made of styrofoam by Trinity Artwork at Grand Pasundan Hotel, Bandung. From handling fragile materials with care, reinforcing curves with masking tape, to installing shimmering crystals under a monochrome theme—this project was a true labor of love. More than just decoration, it was about building a memory that lasts.
Every wedding decoration has a story.
Not just about flowers, lights, or color themes—but about the quiet dedication, late-night hours, and teamwork behind what guests eventually see as effortless beauty.
One of the most memorable projects we recently completed was designing a 3D curved main stage made of styrofoam for a wedding held at Grand Pasundan Hotel, Bandung. This wasn’t just another job. It was a challenge. And also—an honor.
Curved, Delicate, and Still Has to Be Strong. How?

Curves are graceful to look at—but tricky to build, especially when you’re working with styrofoam, a material known for being light… and fragile.
To make the structure bend without breaking, we used a method that might seem simple: we reinforced the styrofoam with layers of masking tape, helping it flex without snapping. Behind that, we installed a metal frame to support the entire build, ensuring everything stood firm and safe.
It took skill, patience, and a lot of careful hands. One wrong move, and the whole structure could lose shape. But we pushed through—because we knew someone’s dream day was depending on it.
A Calm Night, A Careful Setup

Once everything was prepped in our workshop, it was time to move on-site.
Our team arrived at night, slowly unloading the delicate props one by one. This is always the most delicate part—getting everything into the venue safely, without damage.
We began assembling the structure. Frame by frame. Curve by curve. And then came the next step: installing hanging crystals to bring that extra layer of elegance. It may look like a small detail, but every crystal had to be measured, balanced, and secured one at a time. Safety and beauty go hand in hand.

A Monochrome Dream, With a Bit of Sparkle

The couple chose a monochrome theme—clean, modern, timeless.
To elevate the space, we added a 6×6 meter gazebo with hanging crystals that shimmered under the lights. Each crystal was carefully selected to suit the space—never too heavy, never too long.
The main stage itself was fully 3D, curving outward to create a dimensional effect that looked stunning from every angle. Building a shape like this doesn’t just take space—it takes precision. A lot of it.
When It All Comes Together… It’s Magic

After hours of measuring, lifting, adjusting, and polishing—everything finally came together.
The stage stood proud. The crystals caught the light. The space felt… complete.
And in that quiet moment, as we stepped back to take it all in, we felt it.
This wasn’t just décor—it was a memory in the making.
And we were grateful to be part of it.
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s not just beautiful—but thoughtfully crafted from the heart, we’d love to be part of your story too.
